Dreamworks Animation is developing a new movie called “Imaginary Enemies”.
Needless to say, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends was the first cartoon that came to mind, specifically the episode featuring Bendy.

Introducing Annie-Chan, an anime fan’s avatar. Like her creator, she’s an elitist fangirl in the worst imaginable way.
Hayao Miyazaki plans to make a sequel to his 1992 film “Porco Rosso.” It would be his first “direct sequel”.
With the news of a live action CGI film of Babar and even more recent news for one with Bugs Bunny, I had to make this comic. I have to admit, the amount of these types of movies we’re getting are ridiculous. If you get the title to this comic, then you know who I blame for starting this fad.
Originally, I was going to add more characters who were getting the live-action treatment, like Heathcliff or Speedy Gonzales, but this took longer to make than I thought it would.
Don’t forget Yogi Bear is also getting one, which I mentioned before .

Living overseas, I got to see international Cartoon Network feed the world over and they’re usually broken up by different regions, like the original American feed, one for Latin America, Europe/Africa, Japan, Asia Pacific, etc. Their programming was different too. A lot of them still air old cartoons CN US hasn’t in years, while some air shows CN US never did (The Mask cartoon from the 90′s for example).
And natually, they had their own set of bumpers.

Now if you recognize these, they are very similar to the Noods we used to have a few months ago. But unlike them, “Toonix” made plenty of bumpers for all of their shows. Which I think is pretty cool. The Noods warned out their welcome by playing the same kinds again and again. They even made some of Naruto for corn sakes.
The first “new” Conroy Cat comic I did actually covers the Noods.

Saw Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. The lead character along with Ramona aren’t the most likable characters, and the film gets pretty cheesy in terms of the dialogue, but it still manages to be one of the best movies I’ve seen this summer, with intense action, and great comedic elements. It feels like a comic book and video game came to life in a way many people have failed to do before.
I never read the graphic novel it was based on before, but I definitely will now!
Curious George is a toon that’s been working since the 1940′s so he’s not going to take crap from no one!
Curious George is getting another movie, unrelated to the one he got four years ago.
To make things worse, Truth is a lousy tipper.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is one of my favorite anime, and the episode “Reunion”, aired on Adult Swim last Saturday. According to my sources, that will be the last dubbed episode to air for a while, so the characters must be doing something during the intermission.
I think I’m finally done fixing things up.
The last episode of Chowder airs Saturday (Aug. 7).
A shame, it was one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows from the past few years.
